Should I sue for what I owe the IRS?

My tax preparer apparently lied on my taxes for 2008. He did not include the calculate schedule E and A correctly. Now the IRS is coming after me and claim that I owe them a fair amount of money. Should I sue my tax preparer?

Sure, you can sue your tax accountant. If you can show that he was negligent, and that negligence caused you to pay more than you would have paid if the return was completed correctly, that would be the damages you would collect (maybe only penalties and interest) You may want to sue in small claims court.
